Biography
"Kings from Queens, from Queens comes BL .ONE "
Born and raised on the streets of New York, this old school graffiti
writer went from bombing trains, streets, and highways to blowing
up the mic. With his first album release on an internet label
www.jbirdrecords.com called " TMR CREW ", BL created a world
wide buzz in the underground scene . He then was invited to appear
and perform at the Italian Hip Hop Festival in Tuscany Italy, June
2000 by Big Papa Joe Sciorra at italianrap.com.
After returning back to the states BL began working on his next
album " A Queens Tale ". Produced by Ste-Lo and with guest
appearences from the SKYGODENT.COM family's Lordroc, Dee Lyrik
& Drastic , KO from Detroit, and Jack Daniels, this album
is sure to be a banger. Since then BL has been performing in clubs
on a regular basis such as Limelight, Speed , Webster Hall and
Exit with the Hot Wire Hip Hop Showcase tour .
Now coming out in Mid November 2003 is the first single from BL
titled " Spare a Dime " featuring Tia Thomas and of course produced by
the one and only Ste-Lo. This track basically covers the nation wide
homeless problem we have in the states, from veterans to the less
fortunate. Im sure no matter who you are or where your from, you've
seen someone down on there luck. So help BL raise homeless awareness
by picking up the song at a record store near you, or call ya local station
and ask them to play it. Either way , show some love .
